Registered Dietitian. Foodie. Wife. Mom. Recipe Expert.
Hi! I’m Kim, the face behind Food for Thought RD.
I have been a Registered Dietitian for 9 years. I have worked in a hospital setting as well as long-term care. I have lived around the country, but currently live in the Denver, Colorado are with my husband and 4 kids.
I work hard to make healthy, fun, delicious meals for my family, and I’m excited to share those recipes with you.

I view health as a continuum. Each day is a balancing act. No one is perfect. But as long as we try to swing toward the “healthy” side of the continuum more often than not, I view that as a success. I work hard to provide you with the information and tips you need to have that success with your family.
Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to contact me with any questions.
Why do you you have meat and dairy recipes? Meat, dairy aren’t healthy.
I try to focus on a global approach to nutrition, making my recipes appeal to the largest available audience. Some people choose to cut out food groups. I do not.
